Michigan and IPhone Pics

Finally bought a new charger, only cost me an arm and a leg, but hey, who needs em?! So yes, we are in Wyoming, Michigan?! Why did they name it that? As if all these states over here don't just jumble together anyways. Well, I don't know quite how I feel about it yet. Ok, I'm super homesick, and so is KenLea. We skype with my parents just about every night, and KenLea will be so happy for the first few minutes; kissing and hugging the phone, then she'll realize that she can't actually touch them, so she'll start crying really hard and literally push me to the door, telling me "lets go home!" It's so sad! It makes us all cry. But, I've got my little family with me, so I know I'll make it through.
I know everyone says it's good to get out and live on your own, and maybe so, but I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to be home, near family. I have three sets of grandparents, and my mothers parents have lived twenty-five minutes away since I was five. I loved being so close to them. I wish that my other grandparents weren't so far away. I love them all dearly, which is why it is important to me to have my children be close to family. Now, obviously I will follow my husband to where we need to be, but of course if we have the choice, near family will win!
Now, onto other things, no need to dwell on my home-sickness. Michigan is beautiful, very green and lots of trees. Weird not seeing any mountains though. We live in a little one bed-room apartment. We thankfully have a washer and dryer, other wise I'd go insane! Only crappy part is; no microwave. I don't cook in the microwave, but it makes things easier for left overs, and no toaster, so broiler it is. We also live on the third floor which is awesome with a baby and twenty bags of groceries, but yah for sexy calves!
The trip was actually not too bad. Long as "Gone With the Wind," but a smooth, no traffic drive. And KenLea was an absolute angel! She slept well, and rarely cried. We only stopped at Braidons brothers Colbys house in Colorado Springs, for about three hours, and at a little town park for like fourty five minutes the whole way out, and mind you it took us thirty hours to get here! Seriously, I was so worried KenLea would be fussing and crying the whole way, but she was just so sweet and content, I was so grateful!
KenLea really has been so good, she has her moments, but she is mommy's little buddy. She started teething more this weekend, which has made her a bit more cranky, but that's understandable. She is amazing still. Over the past three weeks she's really nailed down where the majority of her body parts are. (She was pretty good prior to that, but she'd get them mixed up every once and a while.) She likes to tell everyone that she is one, by putting up her finger when asked "how old are you?" She loves, loves, LOVES to dance! She is always boppin her head in the car, or dancin around the living room. She knows how to use an Ipad, just about as good as I can. Ha! She acts like a two year old, seriously; she throws fits like one. She fits pretty good in her 18 month clothes, and her size 4 shoes are going to be too small here pretty soon. Ugh!
As you can see, they are a little bit too big still.
Her hair is out of control!
Probably one of the funniest pictures ever!
She's just adorable! I love her so much, and don't know what I'd do without her!
She's always given awesome hugs, but now she gives kisses all the time too!
"Look more happy when Momma's givin you kisses!"
Ah this face! ha

The End
